Extra-Curricular

In addition to our athletic program, CDS offers a variety of extra-curricular activities to help students explore other talents.  These include Band for grades 4 - 8 and Chess for grades K - 8.  CDS also offers Discover Workshops afterschool that help children explore a special interest or ability.  Workshops have themes like cooking, etiquette, Spanish, jewelry making, and arts and crafts.  Involvement in extra-curricular activities can afford students the opportunity to gain confidence , time-management skills, and enhance knowledge in a fun learning environment.
